DAYS 1-2

Local sightseeing

Day 1: Arrival in Leh

  • Upon arrival at Leh airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your homestay in Leh.
  • Rest for the day to acclimatize to the high altitude.

Day 2: Leh

  • After breakfast, begin your sightseeing tour of Leh city. Visit the historic Leh Palace, the 17th-century Shanti Stupa, and explore the local markets.
  • Optional visit to the Thiksey Monastery and Hemis Monastery, two of the largest and most important monasteries in Ladakh.

Pangong Lake Trip

Day 3: Pangong Lake

  • Early morning departure for Pangong Lake (about 6 hours). The journey takes you through the beautiful Chang La pass, which is one of the highest motorable passes in the world.
  • Upon arrival at Pangong Lake, check into your homestay and relax.
  • Enjoy the beautiful surroundings and scenery of Pangong Lake.

Day 4: Pangong Lake

  • Spend the day exploring the area around Pangong Lake.
  • Enjoy hiking, or just relax by the lake and take in the serene beauty of the place.

DAYS 5-6

Nubra Valley

Day 5: Nubra Valley

  • After breakfast, depart for the Nubra Valley (about 5 hours) via the Khardung La pass, which is the highest motorable pass in the world.
  • Upon arrival, check into your homestay in the village of Hunder and relax.
  • Enjoy the unique and serene surroundings of Nubra Valley.

Day 6: Nubra Valley

  • Explore the sand dunes of Hunder and take a camel ride, an activity that is unique to Ladakh.
  • Visit the Diskit Monastery, which is the oldest and largest monastery in the Nubra Valley. Don’t miss the 32-meter Maitreya Buddha statue, which is a must-see attraction.

Turtuk Village Trip

Day 7: Turtuk

  • After breakfast, depart for the remote village of Turtuk (about 4 hours).

Day 8: Turtuk
