The Gangbal trek is a popular trekking route located in the Kashmir region of India. Day 1: Srinagar to Naranag (2 hours)

Once you reach Naranag, you will check into your guesthouse and rest for a while. In the afternoon, you can visit the Naranag temple, which is a popular tourist attraction in the area. You can also take a short hike around the village to acclimatize yourself to the altitude.

Day 2: Naranag to Trunkhol (5 hours)

On the second day of the trek, you will start your journey to Trunkhol, which is the first camping site on the trek. The trek takes around 5 hours and takes you through a beautiful forested trail, where you can see a variety of flora and fauna.

As you trek further up, you will come across the Wangat River, which is a beautiful spot for a picnic. After crossing the river, you will reach the Trunkhol campsite, where you will set up your tents for the night.

Day 3: Trunkhol to Kolsar Lake (6 hours)

On the third day of the trek, you will start your journey to the Kolsar Lake, which is a beautiful high-altitude lake situated at an altitude of 12,000 feet above sea level. The trek takes around 6 hours and takes you through some of the most beautiful landscapes in the region.

As you trek further up, you will come across several streams and waterfalls, which are a beautiful sight to behold. After reaching Kolsar Lake, you can spend some time relaxing by the lake and enjoying the beautiful views.

Day 4: Kolsar Lake to Gangbal Lake (5 hours)

On the fourth day of the trek, you will start your journey to the Gangbal Lake, which is the final destination of the trek. The trek takes around 5 hours and takes you through some of the most difficult and challenging terrain on the trek.

As you trek further up, you will come across several steep climbs and rocky trails, which can be quite challenging. However, the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and valleys make it all worth it.

After reaching the Gangbal Lake, you can spend some time exploring the area and taking in the beautiful views. You can also go for a swim in the lake or enjoy a picnic by the lakeside.

Day 5: Gangbal Lake to Naranag (6 hours)

On the final day of the trek, you will start your journey back to Naranag. The trek takes around 6 hours and takes you through the same trail that you came from.

As you trek back, you can enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and valleys one last time. After reaching Naranag, you will be picked up by our representative and taken back to Srinagar.
